Welcome to our team! "The Hill" has many names depending on who you are running with. When you are running with our team, the hill is called "Big Bertha." The video is going to sputter through the first time and then it will run smoothly. So while you are waiting, read the important information below that you need to know about being on the Cross Country team. Please check back often as this page will be updated frequently.

Important Information

1. Practice is Monday thru Thursday from 2:05 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. (Collaboration Day 1:05 - 2:30). Please make sure your parent picks you up promptly at the track. If they are later than 3:30 p.m., they should meet you in front of the school.
2.Before you can participate in a meet, you must have all of your paperwork including a physical filled out and turned in.
3. If you are going to miss a practice, please bring a note in advance so we can know who to expect at practice. If you miss two practices in one week, you are not eligible to race that week. Make sure you bring a note for any missed practices when you return.

4. Races are on Fridays. The departure and return times are listed on the fall schedule. We will call from the bus when we get close to the school to let parents know when to meet us in front of STMS. We will need you to pick up your runner from the STHS meets.

5. All runners are expected to ride the bus to the meet. After a meet you can only drive home your child. In order to drive another runner home, the coaches must have a copy of that child's emergency card with your name on it. There are no exceptions to this! Please sign your runner out before you leave the meet so we are sure all athletes are accounted for.

6. Please do not leave the meet until all of the races are over. We are a team and we need to be there to cheer for and support each other.

 

Now, go do 25 push-ups and when you are done the movie will be ready!
